It didn't really register in my mind how little I know about women until I went into a Korean clothing shop at the Flea Market. The shop was run by three Korean women, nice girls. The eldest of them told my brother and me that the younger two were new here, learning English at UNF. The youngest youngest (she was 21) appeared to be really digging me and my brother, asking about our ages and what not.
GRRRR! I could kick myself for not taking the initative to be a man. There are a million things I could have said: "Hey, if you want to learn English, why not I give you my number and we can have some lessons?" or "English is a beautiful language, you know? You can describe a whole lot in our tongue".
Okay, so those sounded cheesy, but anything would have worked other than just smiling politiely and buying my stuff (pants, which were the best fitting things I have ever found in a Flea Market).
Sometimes I wish I had one of those Rewind/Erase buttons for my life...
